Cuban jazz festival ends with a tribute to Katrina victims

"It's a tribute to New Orleans, an homage to the history of music, of blues, of ragtime, of the history of jazz" said famed pianist Chucho Valdes on a song he composed in memory of those hurt by Hurricane Katrina. Musicians from countries including Brazil, Ecuador, Argentina, and Mexico, attended Cuba's annual international jazz festival which ended this Sunday. (CNN)
