In a story which is just beginning to unfold, a shootout occurred this morning at
Havana’s international airport.
The story has yet to be acknowledged by the official Cuban press, but it seemed like two or three recently deserted members of the Cuban army tried to hijack a civilian plane when they engaged in a gunfight with airport security. Sources vary on any fatalities that may have occurred.
