The national Center for Disease Control and Prevention has found that the longer immigrants stay here in the United States, the more likely they are to become obese, and develop heart problems and diabetes. Another interesting finding is that immigrants who stay more than five years are less likely to smoke than their recently-arrived counterparts. (AZCentral)
