This Tuesday will be the third anniversary of the death of Puerto Rican nationalist leader Filiberto Ojeda Rios. Ojeda Rios was the head of the Boricua Popular Army (a.k.a. Los Macheteros) and he was killed during a controversial shootout with FBI agents in 2005.
Ojeda Rios’ death has served as a rallying point for those who favor Puerto Rican independence as well as those who are resentful being of U.S. rule. To his detractors, Ojeda Rios was a bandit who masterminded brazen bank robberies in order to fund Los Macheteros. Regardless of what you think of Ojeda Rios it’s undeniable that he continues to be remembered by supporters and opponents alike.

WHEN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OPPOSES YOUR RIGHT TO BE FREE!!
Puerto Ricans, whether they are called Independents (independentistas), Patriots or Nationalists or Freemen, who desire to be free, must always know that the federal government, here in the States has no “subject matter jurisdiction” over the person, case or location and should be challenged to proof it. These are magic words to learn when in Federal Court for desiring freedom for your/our Country.
You won’t be told this in court but: All jury members, judges, attorneys, and employees working in federal court, must reside in federal territory to legally be a federal juror or touch your case or they can be commercially sued, disbarred and financially ruined for violating your constitutional rights etc.
Your God given right to be free is not wanted by the USA, it will oppose your desire for independence and freedom, because the Federal USA is a profit based Corporation.
The Federal Government is a District of Columbia “Corporation”, as are all the States of the USA. What you know of as the USA, is NOT a Republic, but a multi-based Corporation acting as a Country. These Corporations were formed for the benefit of the real owners. Since June of 1933, everything since then, is under Contract law or commercial law, aka Admiralty law, to benefit your masters in power.
The Federal Government owns Puerto Rico as an ASSET, because it is a slave colony—whether you like the idea or not. But the Federal Government takes orders from those who own and run this (Corporation) Country, but are not of this country. The International Bankers, who really own the corporations called the USA and also the Federal Reserve, will let the slaves of PR be free, only if enough real men of Boricua blood wish to be free, by reserving their rights under the Constitution. Their books will be adjusted and we will be free.
The answer to your freedom lies in your Constitutional rights --- To win --You must always reserve your constitutional, commercial rights and know what they are and how to do so.
A Puerto Rican without a desire for independence and/or freedom from alien control has no heart and soul of a man.
The fact that the public does not know that we are NOT free, makes no difference, to the desire to be free. The PR that wants Statehood is a Gringito, who has no soul of a man left in his traitor's heart. Freedom is happening all over the world and yet we allow Gringitos to kill our right to be free.
A Gringito is a non-Anglo THING, IT is not really a “person”, just like a mass murderer is more like an animal than a person, who internally is so inferior, that he desires to be what he can not be—thus Gringito means little gringo.
The Gringito is like an Uncle Tom to blacks or a collaborator and traitor to many others. To us he/she is all three and much worst. The “It or thing” I call Gringito, is the enemy of freedom -- all thru out HUMAN history.
We allow the Alien Invaders to kill, harm, abuse, rape, and scam us and yet the Gringito wants to give our Country away.
This abuse must end. No man or woman is a real Man or real woman who is too scared to fight for their souls and be free. If you listen to the Gringito, you will lose your soul.
Thru out eternity, humanity owes its freedom from slavery, ONLY TO BRAVE SOULS who fought and DIED for your right to be free.
The fight will NOT succeed if you don't fight the Gringito enemy/traitor/collaborator at home first. He is there next door and claims he is a real man and tries to give you many excuses of why PR can't be a free Country.
To give away your/our/my Country is not a right of alien invaders, visitors or foreigners with NO Puerto Rican Blood.
The right to vote on THIS ISSUE should NOT be given to NON-Puerto Ricans.
The fight for the independence of Puerto Rico is now non-violent and will be won in the hearts of real men around the World.

PR has the best of both worlds. And all you Ricans should just shut up and be thankful that the US is providing you with your welfare checks. Without the US PR would be no better than Haiti, which is the first independent colony. And you can see where that got Haiti. Just please stop with all the whining. Get on with your lives. If you were real revolutionaries (like the US founding fathers who risked their lives to oppose British tyranny) you would engage in a real struggle. Reinaldo Ríos encarnará al líder de los macheteros puertorriqueño, Filiberto Ojeda Ríos
Una producción puertorriqueña independiente se lanzará en un nuevo producto que podría estar desde una película, miniserie, video, obra teatral o hasta un documental, pero lo cierto es que ya se ha confirmado al Profesor Reinaldo Ríos como la figura protagónica del evento.
Estas son algunas notas del personaje a encarnar.
Filiberto Ojeda Ríos (26 de abril de 1933- 23 de septiembre de 2005), puertorriqueño, "Responsable General" del Ejército Popular Boricua, mejor conocido como Los Macheteros, una organización clandestina con base en Puerto Rico y agentes en los Estados Unidos y que fue conocida primeramente como el grupo FALN (Fuerzas Armadas para la Liberación Nacional), también tienen unidades en otros países que apoyan la independencia de Puerto Rico de los Estados Unidos mediante el uso de tácticas guerrilleras en la lucha armada. La Agencia Federal de Investigaciones (FBI) de los EEUU clasifica a Los Macheteros como una organización terrorista por estar en contra de los intereses del gobierno federal de EEUU.
Ojeda Ríos fue prófugo de la justicia y uno de los individuos más buscados por el FBI durante la década de los noventa. Su rol en el asalto de un camión de la Wells Fargo en Connecticut durante el 1983 causó que el gobierno federal de los Estados Unidos. murió el 23 de septiembre de 2005 durante un operativo del FBI en Hormigueros, Puerto Rico. Luego de rehusarse a ser capturado, los agentes del FBI abrieron fuego contra Ojeda y lo mataron. Los agentes federales respondieron abriendo fuego y comenzando un tiroteo en el cual Ojeda Rios fue herido y dejado desangrar. Su muerte ha causado protestas por parte de algunos segmentos de la sociedad y los partidos Popular Democrático (PPD) e Independentista Puertorriqueño (PIP). Filiberto Ojeda Ríos ha sido protagonista de una historieta de la publicación "Posibilidades" y es referenciado en la canción "Querido F.B.I" del cantante puertorriqueño René Pérez, mejor conocido como Residente Calle 13. El gobierno de la isla, con apoyo del gobernador Aníbal Acevedo Vilá colaboraron con los federales, el Secretario de Justicia de Puerto Rico con motivaciones politicas y compra de votos socialistas ha radicado demandas en la corte federal para obligar al FBI a proveer toda la información relacionada al operativo, pero el juez federal a cargo del caso denegó el pedido.
El profesor Ríos relató a nuestra sala de redacción que ésto constituía un gran reto en su vida ya que hay muchas cosas muy distantes en ambas personalidades. "Sólo en lo que nos parecemos es que tenemos el mismo apellido, Ríos, pero desconozco si fuéramos parientes lejanos" . Admitió además que para ofrecer una excelente participación en dicho papel estelar se entrevistaría tanto con personas allegadas al personaje a encarnar como a sus familiares.
Expresó: " Mi objetivo es resaltar el libreto en forma natural, que yo sea en ese momento la figura a imitar, ese es mi reto".
Indicó que piensa inclusive hasta visitar la tumba del personaje. Argumentamos con qué propósito, y él nos relató: "Le pediría que se haga en mí presente ese día de grabación, claro sin poseer mi alma ni sentimientos, pero estaría dispuesto a ser vehículo para que se manifieste en mí". Pensábamos que era algo un tanto arriesgado o poco usual, pero entendemos sus estudios en fenómenos paranormales lo cual quién sabe logre esa petición. Hablando de temas paranormales nos relataba que un periódico en Puerto Rico en portada resaltó a Reinaldo Ríos por el Ovnipuerto y en dicha portada también se resaltaba la noticia de Filiberto. En aquel momento se cuestionó que por qué sacaban una noticia tan dispareja a su lado, y ahora entiendía que era un mensaje subliminar de que ese personaje él lo encarnaría con el mismo éxito que logró con el ovnipuerto.
Quisimos insistir en su cambio de imagen y nos manifestó: "Dios mío, tengo que dejarme la barba crecer, cosa que no es de mi agrado en lo personal, inclusive reconozco que estoy subidito de peso, aparte de darme un retoque al pelo y quien sabe si hasta espejuelos usar, lo que significa un reto en mi carrera."
Preguntamos si entiende que siendo uno de los investigadores ovnis más controversiales por sus propuestas como la del Ovnipuerto entre otras, quisimos insistir si le preocupaba cómo la clase ufológica paranormal acogería estas cosas, también que podrían pensar que como piensa lanzarse a político en el 2012, si todo ésto es una manera de preparar el camino para sus próximas aventuras, y él concluyó:
"Siempre he tenido el talento de la actuación, eso no es nuevo para los que me conocen, lo que pasa es que mi trabajo de profesor me limita demasiado, ya quisiera saltar a trabajar en un medio comunicativo permanentemente, por que con toda humildad, he probado tener el talento, pero aveces es cuestión de otros factores que influyen, y de mis aspiraciones políticas te diría que no pertenezco a ningún partido político actual, ni creo en sus plataformas, lo que quizás podrías entenderme como que lanzaría mi propia denominación".
"Esa audición me la gané, no cayó del cielo, fue con mucho sacrificio, y probaré fuera de toda duda que soy un buen actor, he participado en producciones como Decisiones de Telemundo, entre otras, he hecho anuncio y de xtra en películas y novelas".
Ya finalizando este reportaje queremos indicar que dicha producción tiene muchas posibilidades de crecer, aunque está recien naciendo. Ya cuenta con su productora y directora la Profesora Eimy Enid Montalvo con especialidad en Bellas Artes y un grupo de colaboradores. La misma se espera se presente a finales del año 2008 o a principios del 2009 primeramente en el suroeste de la isla y así con la intensión de expandirse a toda la isla e internacionalizarse. Lo cierto es que el ufológo no se retira de su materia preferida, los ovnis, sino que ampliará sus horizontes también a las Bellas Artes.

Why are you giving opinions here? If you don't like what is being said then leave. The truth is, that PR doesn't have the best of both worlds, it has the worst of both worlds, and Puerto Ricans are losing their culture on the island due to this. I can attest to this, as I have lived in both places. Puerto Ricans are not free. And, Afonso, I think your approach is a very uneducated one. Telling a group of people who believe in their cause to shut up and be happy with welfare doesn't sound like something an educated person would say. You sound hateful and in fact jealous that there are people who rather govern themselves than be a slave country to the US. Why should Puerto Ricans shut up and accept welfare? Because you said so? I think it goes a lot deeper than what your thoughts are, and it a struggle that has been ongoing way longer than your education proves. People like you have no right to speak. If you think PR should be happy being a "commonwealth" you're gonna have to come up with a better explanation than "be happy with welfare" The nerve of you to comment in such a shallow fashion to a cause that has been fought for over a century. Go read something about this cause then see if you have some thing productive or conducive to say for either side of the argument.
