Chile’s Supreme Court will announce their verdict tomorrow on the extradition case of ex-Peruvian president Alberto Fujimori. A Court spokesman told local media earlier today that the decision will be delayed while the Court “finalizes details over how the verdict will be presented.”If Fujimori does get extradited to Peru he will face charges of corruption and human rights violations during his time in power. The verdict has been postponed several times; thus drawing the ire of Peruvian president Alan Garcia and family members of victims killed during Fujimori’s decade-long rule.
According to a recent poll 75% of Peruvians want Fujimori to be extradited back for trial.
