Students tell Bachelet ‘Hell no, we won’t go’

Chilean students impatient over reforms promised by president Michelle Bachelet rejected an appeasement offer made by the government yesterday. Students have staged sit-ins in school buildings for nearly two weeks and clashed with police several times last week in Santiago. Though negotiations appear to continue, student protestors have called for a national education strike to take place today.

I think that the students are doing is perfect because they have the right to protest, I think the strike is really comprehensive.m10m
