Indigenous protests against free trade agreement in Colombia

Six thousand Colombian indigenous people protested around the city of Tolima on Monday to voice their opposition to an upcoming free trade agreement between Colombia and the US. This march was an antecedent to a national strike this Wednesday by one of Colombia’s main labor unions. *Article in Spanish* (El Tiempo)

[To say that "free trade" agreements are "inevitable" is, quite pathetically, the modern neoliberal's notion of an argument.]
