Yet another anti-Latino incident in Patchogue

The Long Island neighborhood of Patchogue has been rocked by another anti-Latino incident.

Local detectives said that vandals broke into the Iglesia Evangelica Refugio de Salvacion last night and left notes filled with "anti-Hispanic comments." The allegedly hateful scribes have been reported by one parishioner as “in Spanish (and) out of a dictionary” yet boasting that “saying that Hispanics didn't rule but white people ruled here”.

Patchogue has been the site of several biased attacks against the area’s growing Latino population. Ecuadorian immigrant Marcelo Lucero was killed last November in a suspected hate crime while anther Latino was beaten last month by a trio of teens.

It was this nervous climate that was highlighted by a Southern Poverty Law Center report released yesterday. The study blasted Suffolk County chief executive Steve Levy for engaging in "verbal immigrant-bashing" since taking office; for example, he insensitively compared the fallout from Lucero's murder to "the discomfort of undergoing a colonoscopy." The report also criticized local police for stoking the flames of fear:
Many immigrants told the center’s investigators that the “police did not take their reports of attacks seriously, often blaming the victim,” the report said. “They said there’s little point in going to the police, who are often not interested in their plight and instead demand to know their immigration status”…

The center’s report urged local officials to adopt several measures — including halting “their angry demagoguery” about immigration, promoting educational programs that encourage respect for diversity, and training police officers to take seriously all allegations of hate-motivated crime.

Pat Buchanam, Superb Idiot, Narcissistic Fool, blames Poland for the Second World War, 70 years after Hitler's Coward Attack on that Nation

Pat Buchanam, MSNBC conservative commentator and former Republican presidential candidate. He has a History of Racist Comments and of being Number One Enemy for Minorities, Jews, etc ....

He happens to be Number One Idiot preaching against Latinos and asking for a massive Progrom and Deportation of 12 million plus human beings. Some of those youngsters ( because they are very young ) don't know how to speak Spanish and know no other country but the USA.

Why is it that such a fine and intelligent lady as Rachel Maddow ( a person I love ) presents him in her show ???? ..... Pat Buchanam is the Lowest Scum of Racism.

Why is Pat Buchanan Defending Hitler?

Some excerpts

Pat Buchanan has a history of insensitivity to issues surrounding the Holocaust. Yet again, with the 70th anniversary of the start of World War II, Buchanan posted a telling column on his own website and on Townhall that seems to blame Poland for World War II.
.........................

UPDATE: MSNBC is currently promoting Buchanan's column on MSNBC.com. This is beyond ridiculous. The National Jewish Democratic Council just issued a statement that says: "This sort of historical revisionism is deplorable. Buchanan's latest column should be removed immediately from MSNBC.com, and no worthy news organization should employ a commentator who engages in such vile fiction."

UPDATE II: Within an hour of our press release, MSNBC has removed Buchanan's column, "Did Hitler Want War," from their website. Here's a response from David A. Harris, NJDC's President: "MSNBC took the responsible action and removed Pat Buchanan's column defending Adolf Hitler from their website, but no worthy news organization should employ and promote a commentator who engages in such vile fiction."

Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy : Cheerleading for Racism, Sadism, Brutality and Violence against Latinos - The Enabler of Violence, Murder and Hatred.

Not even the horrible brutal acts of Murder and Violence in Patchogue, Long Island, New York have stopped Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy from his career of Hatred and cheerleading for Sadism, Racism and Brutality.

He also tried to establish the "Minutemen", famous coward terrorists inside Long Island. They killed a 9 year old girl and her father in Arizona on June 2009 during a Home Invasion.

By being in Sympathy with the Worst Thugs of the Zone he enables Murder and Violence.

On November 2008, Marcelo Lucero was brutally killed in the street by a gang of Coward Terrorists. Steve Levy tried to minimize this horrible execution. Sympathy with coward bastards. He has continued making stupid jokes about harassing Latinos.

Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy - The Enabler

http://www.splcenter.org/news/item.jsp?pid=423

Some excerpts :

Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy isn't the only Long Island politician bashing immigrants. But he is the most important

As misguided young men have engaged in violent attacks on Latino immigrants in Suffolk County, N.Y., some local politicians on the sidelines have been playing the role of cheerleaders. Far from acting as peacemakers, they have fed the atmosphere of hostility with rhetorical attacks of their own.

County Executive Steve Levy isn't the only public official engaging in the verbal immigrant-bashing, or the most extreme. But he is the highest-ranking, and since he was elected to his first term in November 2003 after promising a crackdown on illegal immigrants, Levy has been acting like the enabler-in-chief.

Soon after taking office, Levy proposed that Suffolk County police officers be empowered to detain Latinos solely on suspicion of being undocumented immigrants and turn them over to federal authorities for deportation. Police unions blocked the proposal, arguing that it would compromise public safety by making immigrants all the more wary of providing information about criminal activity.
