As part of the international “One Laptop per Child” project Brazilian students will start receiving special laptops this week that are priced at a mere $100. Nicholas Silva- founder of the “One Laptop per Child” program- said that all the laptops will be built in Brazil and plans for 1000 of them to be ready for distribution by January.
