From Metafilter: recent analysis of the indigenous Aymara people of Andean South America show that they have reverse concept of time compared to most of the world. A link to a link to a link... but quite fascinating indeed. The past is visible (esp. the recent past), the future while vision of the future may only ever be based on assumptions.
