Oppenheimer: Chinese growth into Latin America not a serious concern for U.S.

Columnist Andres Oppenheimer looked at the head U.S. diplomat’s trip to China last week and noted how the Bush administration need not worry about China intervening too much in Latin American affairs. Over the past few years, China has established stronger economic ties with Latin America, including obtaining raw materials for its burgeoning market.

I've read his book "Cuentos chinos: El engaño de Washington, la mentira populista y la esperanza de América Latina". It was the best one. I couldn't ignore its arguments. He also has a clever as a special journalist.
