U.S. retreats from assertion of biological weapons in Cuba
In a reversal from John Bolton's 2002 adamant claims that Cuba is a "rogue nation" with "biological weapons capabilities", the State Department released a memo last Thursday acknowledging that "split-views" exist in the intelligence departments regarding the issue. This John Bolton character gives me the shivers. I would absolutely LOVE to be in on the internal politics going on at the CIA right now. I wonder who finally decided to scrap those comments about Cuba. Castro's not exactly a teddy bear, but he's not part of the 'axis of evil' club either.
