Chavez says FARC reign is over


Hugo Chavez announced today that armed revolution in Latin America has no more place in the region's modern history.

Chavez said this pointedly to the FARC, whose guerrilla armies he said are now "out of place."

He also appealed for the guerrillas to release all hostages.
