A case of mistaken identity for CNN
Someone at CNN may have a little explaining to do based on this (hopefully) inadvertent mistake on their website this afternoon.
(Click on the image for a better view): Speaking of Hugo Chavez, Russian news has reported that Venezuela will buy four Russian submarines when Chavez visits Moscow next month.
Well, the CNN shot you have does list the story on the subs right under Chavez' picture, so while I can see the possibility that poor layout contributed to confusion they are technically correct in terms of the placement of their picture.
Maybe Hugo Chavez is buying the submarines in order to help him further his plan to spread HIV?
My hunch is that it was an accidental mistake and not some sort of subliminal anti-Chavez message.
I check the CNN site often each day and typically the site's photo corresponds to the 1st headline. In fact, it's the first time I can remember such a mistake happening with the main headline and what should be the corresponding photo.
