ReplyDeleteThe main difference is that the poll we mentioned in the one you cited where conducted by different firms. Also, the poll you linked to interview 900 Urugayans, whereas the one we linked to only interviewed appoximately 700.

ReplyDeleteI meant that the polls were conducted by different firms albeit under nearly identical conditions (except for sample size).
I guess I just don't understand the high variation between the CIFRA and Mori polls, even after factoring in the extremes of margin of error. From 59% to 44% approval ratings in one week seems pretty drastic. Though they did just have a tragic flood, I don't think even the bush approval ratings dropped more then 3 percent post-Katrina.
