I sincerely hope Menchu's name is enough to convince the indigenous Guatemalas to vote for her, because in previous elections the indigenous community has always fallen for the candidate with the biggest campaign budget, i.e. the candidate which gave them the most gifts.
ReplyDeleteBoth Menchu's party and the Encuentro por Guatemala party have a very limited budget, that's why Rigoberta will campaign on foot, in contrary to other major candidates who fly by helicopter.
Question chapin- who else in Guatemala has a decent shot at the presidency?
