Poll numbers show mixed results for Colombian president
Recent polls have shown that
support for Colombian president Alvaro Uribe has decreased
14% since December and that he may need to go through a second run in his campaign for reelection.
Also, polls show that
pro-Uribe political parties would fall short of capturing a majority in the Senate;
legislative elections will be held on Sunday and the presidential election on May 28.
