Cuba endorses Iranian nuclear program

During a recent visit by Iran’s parliament speaker to Havana, Cuban legislative head Ricardo Alarcon defended Iran’s nuclear energy program and denounced critiques from Western powers against Iran.

  1. Paranoia will detroy ya... Just because Cuba and Venezuela stood firm and actually voted against the hypocritical US proposal on Iran (5 countries abstained) doesn't mean they are a threat. Read Stratfor's analysis.

While these stories serve useful purposes - to villify Iran and Castro/Chavez - they are usually overblown. There is no sinister plan. The relationship was minor until the IAEA vote, which I believe was premature, even though the actual language was pretty weak (on reason and evidence...)
