Napoleon killed over 100,000 Caribbean slaves, says controversial French book
-Contributed by Erwin Cifuentes. A recently released French book accused Napoleon Bonaparte of ordering the killing of over 100,000 slaves in Haiti and Guadeloupe.
I watched a History TV show which claimed Napoleon killed 1,000,000 slaves in Haiti. My history was rusty and I had forgotten he had gone to Haiti, much less killed all of those people. The TV show stated most of these deaths were the result of sulpheric acid gas poured into the ship hulls, Thank you Google for another bit of history. Barbara
